Building a Zelda level? Then you need some Goomblins.

That's a cool idea. Nice execution too.

Bits would be a nice skin too if they weren't enemies. So, is a two frame Miniblin possible?

It turns out that my parents are too sick to drive up to Chicago and thus we drove home. I went ahead and made the flamenco goomba for the Running of the Bulls!

Like Brian I too was inspired by the Running of the Bulls (and how my Park Ranger Goomba sort of stuck out like a sore thumb for the level) and thus I present the horribly stereotyped Matador Goomba!



It also comes in red-fabric waving variety, despite the fact that the red fabric = mad bulls thing is partly a myth.

...Yeah, I prefer Brian's flamenco Goomba too.

Brians flamenco goomba is awsome, i can almos see it dancing all over the stage xD

I like the goomblings too

That Mohawk look so pointy it the players might be too scared to jump on it, thinking that they might die from it.

mmmhh... i did not see it from that side, i'm gonna change that...

Here is it, i did what i can to make it not look so pinty without have a chubby mowahk.

also, i feature the red mohawk black shoes goomba and i did quit the eyebrows from the smashed goombas that i forgot in the previus submit...

I think its to tall.

Nope, just took the liberty of checking and it's not even as tall as my Frosty the Snowgoomba, which is the full maximum size you're allowed to use (16x24).

I like Cornh's Punkgba a lot, but just to be annoying I'm going to state that I actually prefer the previous, fatter mohawk (the thinner one just looks like a bar sticking out of its head to my mind). Some pointy shades or metal piercings might not look too bad either!

I don't honestly foresee any problems with players being worried about jumping on it - it looks like hair. If it was a metal spike sticking out of their head, then yes I would concede to Silent Mac's point.

Thanks, i thougth about the pointy head that so far they appear (i case they do) the player should be familiarized with the fact that the goombas look diferent from stage to stage and that it is not so pointy like the needles or other pointy things amog the game that usually end up with a pixel in the top, now im workin them out so i will post the definitive verisons and more stuff soon, now at least shcool lets me breath, so i may post some more goombas tomorrow...

I whipped up an alternate version so that Turbo has two to choose from.

I'd like to let you know, that there's a Jazz Jackrabbit 2 stage in progress, so we will deffiniatelly use these goombas.

Has anyone made a pika(chu)goom yet?

If not I might make it my first sprite. I've been wanting to learn to sprite for a while.

Pretty sure we've had two or three of those, mate. Check the older posts in this topic anyway, just to be sure.
