MKF Installer v0.31 -- Final Version (187 MB)

The playersongs fix (only for those with the previous installer version):

-A higly compressed, customized and easy installer, without any quality loss (actually increased by fixing the problems below).
-Converted all the mp3 songs to OGG format and disguised them as MP3s (MKF also needs to detect songs through filetypes); 72 MB saved!
-Converted all the playersongs to WAV and starmans to OGG and adapted them to playersongs.ini
-Fixed missing DLL files.
-Fixed playersongs not working/bugging the game. Also moved to music folder.

Size comparison:
Before: 330 MB
After MP3 to OGG and WAV conversion: 256 MB
After compression: 187 MB
Difference: 143 MB!

When I go to start the game, it says "GMFMODSimple.dll not found." What am I supposed to do?

Redownload the previous version and you'll find it! I was very clever not to delete that file...

Everything is works perfect. Except one thing: Starman themes aren't working, if they are in Character folder. Starman themes working perfect, if they are in Music folder.

Could you post zip's?

Minor note: The RE4 Merchant sounds are still missing from this pack... Have they not been implemented yet, or did it just get forgotten in the shuffle?

Just completed all the levels in World 1! For the most part, I'm satisfied! I'm pleased that the bug in Nighttime Icecapades has been fixed. However, a couple of things are worth pointing out:

* The missing backgrounds in Pipe Labyrinth and Bay of Flames are still there. Obreck or other devs must have forgotten about this. Never mind about the former, because it'll be moved to World 8 eventually.

* What did Lars do to make the Red Shy Guys in Mushroom Forest turn around? Aren't they supposed to be blue? Red ones are meant to walk off the edge.

However, I can confirm that the World 2 HQ background has been restored! Thank you, MKFusion Team!

WTF, I cannot open the file, since my computer does not allow me to open .rar files!

Can't you offer a zip file like in the previous versions. I really don't have any clue how to open a .rar-file, since there's no program on my computer to open that file-type.
Plus I don't know if I can download a free web-programm to open .rar-files.

EDIT: Ok, installed a programm called WinRAR! Now everything works.

*pant* *pant* just converted ALL the songs to OGG format and disguised them, it works PERFECT on MKF, fully tested. Also I can't believe I turned a 12 MB mp3 song into a 2 MB song, woo! You have no idea how much free space I just freed, haha.
Currently testing playersongs in OGG format, had some trouble earlier like weird glitches but didn't have the music yet.

Help me I cannot start the game. After the load screen it says:

i've had that error before in older vertions and i can remember two ways to fix it

1. restart your computer then try again as soon as it starts, i don't get why this seems to work but it has before

2. redownload the game once again i'm not sure why this works but it does... maybe somthing happened to one of the files.

I looked at another thread and a poster claimed that WinRAR doesn't cost anything to keep even after the end of the trial period. Is that true? Should I just remove WinRAR after I download the game's files and then download it again when I'm ready for the next version?

Brian after the time period for Winrar is up it will display a window asking you to buy it or whatever every time you open it. All you have to do is hit the close button and it will still work.

What do I do with the DLLs? I placed the folder within the folder for the game. Do I take the files out of this folder and into the larger folder along with the other files? Do I keep the files in this folder?

You put the DLL files in the same folder where the game's exe is, I think.

I liked the look of the red ones for the stage better, but I didn't want them to just fall off the mushrooms. So I just skinned the blue ones to look like the red ones.
