Yeah, I mean the ones on the overworld who you can run into like Hammer Bros. So I can go at them with a full set of powerups, but one death, and I face the fact that programming to make them move around the map every time you die or beat a level isn't implemented. Hence, I'm forced to fight the dude again with no powerups, so basically it steals all my lives in unfair battles, or else I restart.

I noticed this too. Doc Robot pummeled me to death...
Another suggestion would be the knock-back from SMB3 be implemented. When you lose a level, you get thrown back to the last level, pipe, or HQ you visited.

Obreck stated that there should be a "knockback" sytem implemented in the future
