| A falcon punch glove. allows charecters to perform a FALCON PAUNCH! short range but for MASSIVE DAMAGE! |
In the Smash Bros games... the damage for the punch is surprisingly unremarkable...
I mean its a longer windup than a smash attack, for less damage!
you don't use it cause of its % damage, you use it because its PAUNCH!

and it would be AWESOME!

F.L.U.D.D.: Infinite ammo, no damage, but stuns enemies, puts put fires, and can be charged for a damaging attack.

How about the Disk Blade Gun, Shock Cannon, and Tesla Claw from the Ratchet and Clank series, and the SPEW and Rivet Gun from Metal Arms: Glitch In the System?

I think this might be a good one, what would you think about the grenade launcher from the Quake games?
The weapon, when taken, would have around 8 grenades (or shots) and would work like it does in every Quake game, it throws a grenade at a medium distance, if the grenade touches an enemy it explodes, if not, it bounces 2 times on the floor and blows 3 seconds later with a bigger explosion that deals a lot of damage. There arent many low resolution pictures to make a sprite from, but there are some images to have a base from:

The images above are the best i found from the Quake 3 grenade launcher, the next one is the one from Quake 2.

And for last, the Grenades have always looked like this, i think the sprite would be quite simple, a dark brown round square with a red line (i know i know nothing is easy it takes work dont flame pls)

Maybe for programing it the kinetics of the shots would be like when a MK Fusion character throws a SMB2 item (vegetables, bombs) while running? And for the detonation time it would possibly be like the SMB2 bombs? Sorry for my programing ignorance i'm newb, whoever is in charge of making weapons, i really think this could be a good idea for one

I wasn't talking about a BUFFALOLAWNCHAIR clone, I was talking about a gun that that was aimable to fire Yoshi Eggs (should've explained that one), and I didn't know 'bout the shotgun

Well, the shotgun is in the Library, you can play with it a bit there. As for the EGGLAWNCHAIR, I'd really suggest going with a different name, or at least changing it to Egg Launcher, as it did sound a bit like you were aiming for a BUFFALOLAWNCHAIR, but with eggs.

In regards to the Huge McBoom Guns (i.e. weapons like the BFG 9000, The Redeemer, Turok's Chronscepter and Nuke), why not have 'em in parts that need to be collected over the course of the level to use?
It'd be tedious, I know, and I'm not even sure the mechanic could be implemented, but it's an idea I find interesting.

Indeed. Like I said, it's just an idea.
Something that WOULD be interesting, though, would be "antithesis"-type weapons. To put it another way, you know how the Mega Man Robot Masters/Mavericks are especially vulnerable to certain weapons? Same idea. However, you need to find the murderous weapon first, which would be somewhere in the level.

Perhaps a "joke" weapon that is actually weaker than just about any other attack in the game would be a worthwhile addition to the game? I'm thinking the Klobb from Goldeneye. >_>

Goldeneye NEEDS representation. Best SHMUP game on the 64 game ever.
...Yeah,were there Klobb's in the movie? If so,we cant use it.

Goldeneye isn't a Shmup, it's a First-person Shooter.
On the subject at hand, I believe the Klobb was created specifically for the game. It's name comes from Ken Lobb who worked on the game. Still, it wouldn't matter if it was in the movie if it's a real-world weapon.

Well, a five minute wikipedia search turned up that the Klobb is not a real world weapon itself, but is based on
this weapon. That weapon is a real weapon. I can't say for sure if it was in the Goldeneye movie, but the Klobb as is certainly is not. It's a game original, as EvilMarioBot said, named after Ken Lobb, so... I
think that qualifies, but, of course, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
Personally, I'd just be amused to see the thing be in and take, like, eight bullets just to bring down a goomba. >_>

Is it really that weak? (Always uses infinite ammo and all guns cheats and uses rocket launchers)

I may be exaggerating a little, but it was pretty weak. Weak enough to be useless in multiplayer, especially.
