Koopa Wars is one of those Platformer games involving outwitting your opponet and strategy made with Gamemaker 7.
The idea is this: There are only Koopa Bros fighting in this game. I have a nice sheet of Koopa Bros found in Mario Fangames Galaxy (MFGG). However, if you wish to make your OWN KoopaBros, don't hesitate to help out.
I'll need assistance with programming them, etc, as I want this to be a team-based project like MKF. (Don't worry, I won't overthrow MKF. heh)

Rules for helping out:
1. Nothing too "Out-of-bounds" for Koopa Bros or Level Suggestions. Something like "GangstaBros" is too "Out-of-bounds", however, "MilitiaBros" is fine.
2. If you're customizing sprites, you need to give me a link to the picture for verification. If you're re-coloring them, same thing, but also say what you re-colored, say, you re-colored the Hammer bros. Here's an Example below:

3. Level Designers, you can make a room with whatever background you like that is not personal. If you can't do that, stick to video game-related subjects. (Indie game levels will be shot down on sight.)
4. If you're a Scripter or Misc. designer, send me the GM file afterwards as a different name so I know it's the Koopa Wars GM file and not something else.
5. If you're an Alpha-tester, you WILL NOT recieve the GM File until everything is finished. Once this is done and I have Alpha-tested it myself, the Alpha GMs on the list will get the GM file. (If you took more than Alpha-tester, say a Programmer AND a Spriter, you will get the GM file first, so you can do everything, then test it yourself, before sending me the file so I can test it. Just being a Spriter, you'll only need to add in the sprites and send it to a Programmer, who then sends it to me to test if they're not already an Alpha-tester)
6. Lastly, anyone can play the Beta's when they're released. If you haven't signed up for a job, however, you won't get the GM files.
That being said, let's start!

As in terminology: Strategy Platformers (I meant Platformer Action & strategy, but w/e) are sort of a new era: They're Platformers that involve a simple area (Or a story mode, which means SMB-style levels) that use several weapons or items. (In this case, it's both Super Mario Items, various items to other players discresion, and whatever attack the Koopa Bros had)
In this game, I'm going to mix it up a bit and share the details to everyone:
-Story-driven campaign, pitting you against other Koopa Bros.
-A Battle-mode that pits you against 3 AI opponets (Currently straightening out how the Multiplayer portion would work in this game. It takes a VERY long while, FYI)
-Several items from verious Super Mario games, and I plan on including some 3D Mario gaming items as well using 2D sprites (That would mean I would also try and get the ice Flower and Metal Cap in the game.
-Lots of Koopa Bros choices to choose from (Hopefully. In the Sprite Sheet I use for these, I counted over 25, plus variations, which means over 50 Koopa Bros will currently be in the roster, plus whatever the Spriters come up with.)
-A ton of maps. (Might add in a custom Level Editor for the Battle Mode part if people decide they want and my Dev team thinks it's okay)
-The Koopa Bros will have their own unique patterns of attack and mobility, as to what the programmers/coders want to do. (Heavy Fire Bros, for instance, will shake the ground, and the soon-to-be in Bazooka Bros will fire a type of Projectile Bill from his launcher... At least, in my perspective point of view.)
-There WILL be power-ups for both Story and battle modes.
With that said, I'll put the finishing touches to the Koopa Wars GM File and send it to the current Dev team members and those who choose to sign up as a part of the Dev, UNLESS you're a pure Alpha tester.
EDIT2: Shadic is now no longer helping us with coding. As the delay is getting too long, I have decided to TRY and code. Please send me everything you have so far. (Theused is the only exception.)
