So how do I change it so that the main character you start off with is someone else besides mario? And what would i need to change to do this ???

damm del cant we be lazy. but he has a point if we start off with sonic mario and luigi. or was it sonic tails mario and luigi or just the bros. any ways what im getting at is when the game is finished we should have the choice of choosing who we start with since the HQ isnt until a little later in the maps. and im sure this is going to be set to where you HAVE to beat the level to progress to the next. but you are right since this game ISNT finished just head to the HQ to change characters and get power ups.

tho when i save the game as some one it keeps me as that person doesnt revert back to mario.

I'm quite sure the final version will have the bros only, so there would be no point about choosing since it would be Mario n Luigi only, still not sure about how could you swap to Luigi without coallition and HQ in world 1, but he's talking about the current beta, whete you always start with Mario because of the lack of the saving system.

Really? cause since its in the level design forum I assumed he was asking what you did for a level to force you to play as another character... ah well.
