Palmtree Panic
World: World 7-S?
Music:
Present: Japanese version
Past: American or Japanese version, both are the same
Good Future: Japanese version
Bad Future: Japanese version
Enemies: Badniks skinned to look like the ones from Sonic CD.
Area 1: Present
You start going through a platforming sequence as long as the first act itself. There will be a few loops for Sonic and Tails to go through. Once you run past the flagpole at the end, it'll flip to say "past" (I hope we can even have the "past" sound play when you run past it as well), you'll disappear, and that trippy time-traveling cutscene will play with your character spinning through space-time to....
Area 2: Past
There's very few enemies here, and the platforming is short compared to the first act. Here is where you'll meet up with everyone's favorite robot. But this one looks quite different from the one we're used to....
Miniboss: Rocket Metal Sonic
Spritesheet to be used for him:

Sources say this one was built by Tails to spy on Eggman's new death machine, the Death Egg 2, so they could find an opening to get inside and stop his new plan from taking off. It seems this machine's gone rogue, and no one is sure why. Irregardless, you'll have to break this thing. It'll take about 5 hits to destroy, and it'll attack by either charging offscreen in a straight line in rocket form, or go into normal form and swoop around, much like Metal Sonic did in Sonic Triple Trouble. It also has a couple attacks to really differentiate itself from its twin. One of them is shooting a laser from its eyes across the screen, which you can jump over. It'll momentarily flash its eyes red for a second to give you warning, and the second is to unleash bombs that will launch into the air, and fall down in a pattern similar to that of the first boss of Angel Island Zone from S3&K. It'll fly off screen while the bombs fall. If you beat it, a timestone will drop.
Gold or Black Timestone: The Conditions
It appears that the timestone powering Rocket Metal Sonic is what must've caused him to go berserk. If you guys want a plot for this secret level, Tails put a timestone in RMS to allow him to travel back in time to look for any remaining badnik activity. He oughta be more careful with what he's using for a power source. Now, depending on how quick you beat it, either a gold timestone or a black one will fall out. If you beat him within a minute, you'll get the gold one. If you beat him longer than that, you'll get the black one. Once you pick it up (it won't be a hold item), you'll then go through a flagpole that will flip to future, and the next section will look different depending on the timestone you have with you. If you had the gold timestone while passing through it, you'll go to the Good Future, and if you got the black one, then its the Bad Future for you.
Area 3: Good Future
This is definitely the easiest section in the level. Layout for both Good and Bad Future is based around Act 2. The scenery for this section is a lot more pleasant. There definitely is a platforming sequence, but there are no enemies whatsoever. This is the future you want to earn if you feel you deserve something easier.
Area 3 Alt.: Bad Future
Prepare for the hardest section of the level. More enemies than the first act, a gloomy environment filled with machines polluting and destroying the plants and water, and depressing music to really bring it on home. With both of these acts, one you reach the end, you have just completed the level.
